There is none as far as I can see and the rest of the chrome appears in similar condition. Maybe one of the most beautiful cars ever built. I was stunned by them when new, and I still am today. And my favorites are the black four-door sedans. So formal; so elegant. And then Cadillac totally screwed them up beginning in 1950 - with each successive year becoming a parody of the last. I\u2019m sure I\u2019m making enemies with fin-fans, but in my view, by 1959 the car was nothing but sheer excess everything - except style, form, beauty, elegance... Then we have 1960 GM designs which seem to say: \u201cOops, we went too far, didn\u2019t we.\u201d And each year up until 1963, GM gently found its way back from the Buck Rogers era of wrap-around windshields and tail fins, and got back to building attractive cars. \r\n\r\nBut never again would we see anything that could compare with those peak-of-artistry 1948-49 models. If I could afford to be a Cadillac collector, I would absolutely have to own this particular example.
