This has been kept from the rain since restoration. As for the noisy transmission, it was fully and professionally rebuilt. My father wanted it to be completely smooth when shifting, but it has a little noise due to the primitive transmission design and some wear due to age. I sold the restorer a complete rolling chassis that was only a couple years newer, and the addition of front brakes would be a huge improvement for that car.
