I had a set on my first LM1, there's nothing like it's deep resonant sound, particularly the engine overruns. Finding a set, let alone in good condition, is rare... these are very scarce. I ended up going with Lafranconi for my current LM1 which are nice but nothing like the sound and quality of a BUB.\n\nThe other upgrade on this bike is FAC fork dampers. I've heard mixed reviews of these, so I ended up going with progressive springs and new factory dampers on mine. That combo along with IKON rear shocks works perfect for my 170 lb. weight with gear. I'm always amazed at how well it handles, and the quality of the integrated braking compared to modern sport bikes. Not saying it's better, just that the LM1 was pretty advanced in its day.\n\n @IanW, at 5'7 I find a LM1 very comfortable to ride, even 200+ mile days in the mountains. But can\u2019t explain why the stamp is so much thicker \r\n\r\n- here is the license plate from when my father in moved the bike from Chicago to San Francisco. \r\n\r\n- my mechanic was very excited about this envelope from Moto Guzzi that is housing the old original spare gaskets\r\n\r\n- not sure what this Chicago plate is but it was in with the California plate. \r\n\r\n- lastly - I do not have the original seat or the original muffler.
