They constantly want to take the Lightning everywhere we go, but I also have a wife. With only 3 seats, we don't get a chance to take it as often as they would like. If the truck sells, I will hopefully be replacing it with a Shelby GT500 or perhaps (Ford guys cover your ears) a ZL1. I have thoroughly enjoyed the truck and my boys giggle and grin from ear to ear when they hear that supercharger whine. I had one years ago in high school which is the reason I wanted another one, and it is just as fun to drive as I remembered. Honestly there were a few surprises since the other seller did not disclose any of it to me. I have done the best I can with taking pictures. (Taking pictures of a black truck is not easy for an amateur) I do believe PDR would take care of that ding. I planned on getting it taken out but don't know of any good PDR guys in the area and was hesitant because a bad PDR guy can make it worse (had it done years ago on a perfect 91 mustang lx convertible summer edition and I regretted taking it to him) . There is also a small ding on the lower part of the passenger door with some touch up paint on it. The truck is overall in very good condition. There are a few minor stone chips in the front end as to be expected on a 20 year old truck with 42k miles. The rear bumper has some paint chips (pictured) and there is the PDR dent as mentioned and a small touch up spot just above it as can be seen in the picture. A good buff job would really take this truck to the next level. What drew me to this truck specifically was that it is a 2004 (last year they made them) which don't come along all too often, it had low miles, and was completely stock. I had a question about my previous comment about the \"surprises\" when I purchased the truck and I just want to clarify they were really nothing major. When I spoke to the original seller through text message and on the phone he walked me through the truck and basically told me the truck was perfect with no flaws. Some of the little issues were headlight bulbs needed to be replaced and one of the sway bar links was missing. As for the rest of the truck, it is overall in very nice condition, the left mirror (picture 39) has some scratches on the cover, the rear bumper has some chips and scratches (pictures 48 & 52), and there is the minor ding that I believe could be fixed with PDR (pic 41), and a minor ding in the lower passenger side door. There is also a minor chip in the windshield. It is very hard to take pictures of a black truck as I am not a professional so that is why I have tried to describe the vehicle and flaws and pointed out specific spots. I do believe a good buff (detail) would remove the minor surface scratches as typical for a black vehicle. Any other questions, feel free to reach out and I will do my best to answer as quick as I can considering the auction is ending today.
