From everything I can tell, this car is the real deal. One owner, garage kept, properly serviced, etc. We are not Porsche experts but we deal in high end classic / sports cars on a regular basis. I feel confident representing this for what it is. A very neat low mileage car that is as original as possible. It was driven a few thousand miles a year early on and driven about 10 miles a month in recent years. The car is not perfect but it is very nice for a 25-26 year old car. I say 26 because the car was produced in 1992 and entered the US that year and was sold to the original owner in 1992. As best I can tell they call them the \"early\" 1993 cars. I have a 997.1 (same dimensions as the .2 version) and have had multiple 928s. To some extent, the water cooled rear engine 911's have morphed somewhat into the GT cruiser class of the 928, but they are different enough that the markets do not really overlap (altho I understand the 991 is truly more a GT cruiser now than a sports car). The 928 can be driven effortlessly all day, with no fatigue. Can't do that in a 997. At least not as comfortably. Handling, they are both superb, just different. \r\nAnyway, what I'm getting at is that the market for this car is a different buyer than the market for a 997.1 or.2, or even a turbo for that matter. Porsche made many of those models. There are very few 928 GTS's, and they are the pinnacle 928 - best of breed. No matter what this car sells for today (assuming it does) it will be way undervalued considering what the 997s and the turbos fetch.
