The brackets should be different, and the lights shown are \"Driving lamps\" not \"fog lamps\". The easy way to tell is the clear lens, vs the faceted lens of fog lamps. The bulb is also oriented differently between the 2. The included lamps are still desirable and valuable, just not what the factory would have installed on this car (I swapped from fog to driving on my own XK140..) \n\nAlso, I could be wrong on this detail, but the seats appear to have standard \"seat\" portions, with bucket style backs. I'm 34 years old and I think (my opinion) the Xk140 Roadster to be by far one of the most beautiful cars in the world! \n\nYou can't hide away from the beauty of the lines, the hand rolled fenders and the unique POV of the split window. When I drive this car I feel like I'm Bruce Wayne or a young Al Pacino in Godfather. I drive this car everywhere around Long Island and there is not a single instance I'm not stopped and asked what it is in pure astonishment. I sit by the cafe in Oyster Bay often with the car parked in front with people unaware it's mine and I count the amount of random people taking photos of them with the car and whispering to themselves \"oh isn't that the car in Cruel Intentions\". I've entered it in 2 legit concurs car shows for fun and walk out with Best in Class wins and also top choice pick voted by the spectators who came. Every Jaguar specialist including those judges in the clubs who have seen this car in person are in awe. The pictures just don't do enough justice. \n\nThis car represents a jewel of history when the Brits had the fastest plane, motorcycle, and car in the world. Wearing badges proudly showing off the XKs wins in 51 & 53 at Le Mans. \n\nThis is no ordinary XK140, I did my best to modernize it without sacrificing too much and hiding modifications as best as I could. I've driven full original Xk's a few times and by my opinion they're terrifying and unreliable. I just don't enjoy driving a car that can overheat or breakdown at the light in the middle of a busy intersection. \n\nI've gone above and beyond to perfect this dark horse for the ultimate driving experience. I deleted the fog lamps because I felt they took away from the beautiful face and removed the side mirrors because I felt they were useless and ugly. I added a bigger battery and electric alternator because the original generators were garbage. I added a modern oil filter to make changes a million times easier and quicker. I had the bonnet professionally louvered for heat displacement, added a larger radiator, fan shroud, and aux fan to ensure the car ran cool and wouldn't overheat which we all know these cars do often even on a not so hot day. I added performance disk brakes to ensure this baby will brake and give a driver confidence. I added power steering because it really makes your life easier and prefer not to deal with the wrist pain. I added the XKE engine for added torque and finished the cockpit with a tri-spoke wooden steering wheel because I felt it was so much more sexy and easier for taking corners. Everything done to this car was done without modifying anything on the body or chassis, thus if preferred the new owner can easily revert back to OEM though I'd scratch my head as to why. \n\nIf you're looking for a garage queen that's original that you take out once a while to get coffee or trailer it to shows then this isn't the car for you. If you love the design and want a fun, fast, reliable, and exhilarating car that will make you feel safe and confident on the roads in todays traffic this is the car. I bleed, and cried so you wouldn't have to. With that being said by my opinion if you were to do this yourself in day's mechanic and shop prices you'd rip your head off. As previously said, I doubt I'll even break even, my loss is the new owners gain. This obviously really sucked to hear since we all know the only way to get to the gear box and rear main seal is to unfortunately take the entire engine out and etc. Given that the engine was going to come out I took the opportunity to replace stuff and do a few improvements. I noticed there was a rather uncomfortable amount of heat that would come from the gear box as I would drive it for longer periods of time so I replaced all the nasty OEM style fiber class insulation which did nothing with Dynamat. At that time I also opted in for a performance aluminum flywheel, new pilot bushing, and pressure plate since why not. Also had the entire undercarriage gone over and make sure its clean enough to eat off of.
