They also elicit a lot of comments which is why I went and had them measured prior to the listing, to try and allay some fears . The pics of them being measured are using the default tool for measurement these days (made by a company called Proceq.) It provides a wear measurement that can be judged relative to the max and min numbers shown on the had for each rotor. The spreadsheet included shows the measurements at the three measurement spots for each disc. As you can see, very little wear shown after 27,000 miles. I bought the extra set of OEM pads since it is about the only consumable (other than oil changes) that will be needed on this car for a long time, amazing for a car with such capability. It is down about 10cuft of from the GLS but about 1500 lbs lighter, faster (by a lot) and very unique. It can be mounted further back as Skiguard includes a cutout for the satellite antenna on the back. (more info here: https://www.skiguard.com/830ts it is the 830 Sport model)\r\n\r\nThe further forward, the better the reception. I could move it back more and still clear the hatch if that was the preference. The box itself can handle more than skis, there are inserts that help stabilize skis but they are removable so you can put other bags, clubs, etc. up there. Not cheap at ~$1300 plus $400 or so for the bars but worth it IMO.
