Mine was blue though. I had a blast in it but after about a year it would stop running at the same spot on the way home from work. I soon got very tired of pushing it off the road. I was going to trade it in for a '65 Mustang I found. The night before I was going to trade it in, I asked my sister if she wanted to go look at the Mustang. So we went and looked at it but on the way home I spied my favorite twisty road and decided to take it for one last spin down that road. Unfortunately, I put a wheel wrong, went off road, and flipped the car! Amazingly, I was unscathed but my sister had several (non-life threatening) injuries. The right front fender and windscreen was all bashed in. After we got it home and surveyed the damage, we got a replacement windscreen from a junkyard and I drove it to Juarez for some cheap, quick, bodywork and paint. The car crabbed down the road as the frame was twisted. I drove it for a couple more months but it was still stalling on the way home from work. I traded it in for a brand new 1979 Toyota Corolla Liftback.
