The thought of buying this one and putting all my equity into a Flycraft fishing boat, nicer camping gear, and a couple more fly rods is definitely messing with my mind.\r\n\r\nThe 4Runner is the ultimate vehicle for those who appreciate engineering and pluckishness. It wears its BoF roots proudly, has this weird personality that alternates between torquey truck motor and smooth-revving V6, and seems to recover from the thickest coatings of mud + dust (inside and out!) with preternatural aplomb. And the dogs really do love the roll down rear window, though Hank usually rides shotgun with me. \r\n\r\nEvery time I contemplate cashing out of my '18 TRD Pro, I realize that if I just accept the payment and commit to owning it, my truck will be just like this one in a few years.
