Just curious about the odd Photoshopping, that's all. \n\nThe Amal Premier (not \"premium\") is the re-engineered version of the original Amal Concentric carb with an improved idle circuit, which was the bane of the original Concentrics. Improved metallurgy as well. \n\nThe 600 series (such as 626) was the 2-stroke version of the Concentric (such as found on a Greeves or AJS Stormer), and the 900 series (such as 926) was the 4-stroke version of the same basic carb. The differences were the spray bars and jetting. Lightened and a bit quicker than standard. great little bike. Gave me no trouble until the main bearings wore out. Odd set-up with a ball bearing on the drive side and a plain bearing on the timing side.
