Salvaging good wire from the MG parts let me do that, and faster than trying to order a spool of each color from a specialist. All of the bullet connectors are new and crimped with the factory-type ratchet crimp tool, and almost all of the female bullet connectors are new. There are all sorts of interesting intakes for these including cross ram and downdraft Weber, fuel injection etc. Traco engineering built them for CanAm, Jack Brabham used a destroked version in Formula 1 - see Repco Brabham. I changed the gear oil when I fitted the angle drive for the speedo in July and there were no indications of trauma in the drained oil. I bought the Muncie in 2008 and it was described as a rebuilt unit. It had fresh Redline assembly lube between the new-looking parts, though I didn\u2019t strip it down to check the builder\u2019s work.\r\n\r\nI also took the sump off the engine and checked the center main bearing to make sure the thrust face was OK.
