That's also unfortunately why it had the front plate frame installed; company policy at Port Bayonne was to put them on for internal-use cars and it was hard to interrupt the process beforehand. \nThis car was based in the southern region primarily for media use and we took it to a number of events at Road Atlanta including Petit Le Mans and The Mitty race weekends. We'd invite a journalist to use the car for a race weekend, or we'd park it in places where \"enhanced visibility\" was appropriate... Fire Orange is the best for that ;) \nA particular memory of this unit was that it was the one LRP Edition I was able to give my dad and brother a ride in; I remember picking them up at the Gainesville GA airport for a visit to an old neighbor. In fact it turned out to be our last visit with him so it's a poignant memory. I remember being so glad it was a 6-speed car because you get to 'play the musical instrument' so much more that way... gives the driver an added responsibility. \nThis unit was one of 38 LRPs produced with black wheels, which I couldn't have been able to remember, but I can still feel the Alcantara steering wheel in my hands if I try. As a three-time Limerock owner, I had the chance to see this car in person during my latest trip to EAG (I had an appointment to finalize the purchase of a special blue colored car)\u2026 In fact, this Limerock was the first thing I saw - it\u2019s hard to miss Fire Orange, it really sticks out - especially when you're not expecting to see it. Over the years and the many trips down to EAG, I've make it a point to come in from the north on Reading road. It\u2019s so awesome to be able to take everything in when passing their detail shop, body shop and then arriving at their main building. This Limerock was sitting in front of their body shop and had just finished getting its front bumper reconditioned. The car is a stunner! EAG has been involved in all three of the Limerocks I\u2019ve owned, including the one I bought new in 2013.
