Very clean, well presented and obviously has lived the \"charmed life\". \r\n\r\nThe Arizona sky provides a spectacular back drop. Quite clearly this car caught the attention of the young lady in picture 17..funny shot! \r\n\r\nOne thing that has been missed in the commentary, is the VERY rare 3-gauge pod that has been added where the dash center vents are located. This is a neat add on and no longer available (unless you are a handy with a 3D printer). Picture 81 is the best shot of these gauges. I assume they all work??\r\n\r\nEvidently this car was owned by someone who loved it and also very proud of the ///M tri-colors based on the tie-wraps in the engine bay (and the valve cover)...Easter Egg hunting....check out pictures 124 and 125.\r\n\r\nPicture 176 shows that the control arms were recently replaced with URO branded units bought from RockAuto. While URO has come a long way from their early (and not great) days, I wonder how well their bushings will hold up. Not a huge deal, as these arms are simple to replace and once you replace them, you do not have to re-align the car.\r\n\r\nThese cars were produced when BMW were really cranking out some fantastic machines. Their Munich office would have been an exciting place to be back then. The driving experience and material choice clearly reflect a car produced by passionate people. BMW really knew how to screw a car together with materials that last.\r\n\r\nThe kicker here, is that these cars are reliable and not temperamental. Keep up with the maintenance and the car will continue to reward with you years of great ownership.\r\n\r\nIf you are looking for a really excellent car, your search stops here. Get one while you can.
