I hope this sale will generate lots of conversation, and bids, as is typical in BaT sales. \r\n\r\nThis 1974 E-Type is a terrific daily driver and turns heads everywhere I take it. \r\n\r\nIn anticipation of some questions, here are some things to note:\r\n\r\nThe color is described as \"maroon\" which is a generic description. The original color is Regency Red (see the Heritage Certificate) and I believe that is also the current color, but because this could not be independently verified BaT preferred to use the generic maroon description. Imperial Maroon was an E-Type color used until 1971, and replaced by Regency Red for 1972-1974 models. The two colors are virtually indistinguishable. \r\n\r\nI have the original radio, which works and is included in the sale.\r\n\r\nI have not had the air conditioning looked at as I wouldn't use it. Consequently I don't know if it simply needs to be properly charged or requires other work. You will also notice that some louvres are missing on two of the air vents. Replacement vents are available through Terry's Jaguar parts, but they don't ship to my location so I am not able to replace them myself. I can provide detailed information to the successful bidder.\r\n\r\nShipping from Canada is easy. I can provide contact information for the shipping company I used to bring the car from Utah to Canada in an enclosed transport vehicle. This car has the same conversion. I believe the Stombergs were used as it was easier to get the V12 through US regulations at the time. I changed to SUs because my machanic recommended the change, not because the Strombergs were that bad. I have not replaced the radiator, but I don't know if that might have been done under previous ownership when other work was being done. The only way to know for sure is to remove the hood to get full access to the radiator, but I don't have that capability. \r\n\r\nI can tell you that, once I had the fan wiring fixed, the engine temperature never gets above the mid point of the temperature gauge, even on days exceeding 90 degrees plus humidity (where I live that usually adds another 5-7 degrees).\r\n\r\nI have also provided some photos of the radiator that is visible from both the engine side and the front grill side.
