During the winter months I keep a battery tender hooked up and I crank it routinely. \r\n3) Rear tires, date code 03/20, Extreme Contact Sport, a max performance summer tire. \r\n Front tires, date code 05/15, ContiSportContact3, a max performance tire. The contisportcontact3 name has been discontinued by Continental, hence the rear tires installed last year. I even called Continental to ensure this would not be a safety issue under any condition, they confirmed. They all look excellent, are wearing excellent and I\u2019d say have at least 80% life remaining all around easily. You get the grip with a little better wear rate than the Michelin\u2019s etc, love the tires. \r\n4) All mechanicals and electronics are in perfect working order. No leaks, no odd noises, no glitches, no dash lights. \r\n5) There is one key. There was one when I bought as well. I agree it is hard to see as it is small and easily corrected if a buyer decides. It is definitely a minor ding and not a dent. Believe me, I wasn\u2019t happy to come out to a public parking deck the day I saw that. I\u2019m always the one who parks in the back and away from everyone else, and at home it\u2019s always garaged. The reflection in the paint is so excellent it makes that fault difficult to see. IF it had third row, it would have the auto lift-gate in the back, yet another thing to go wrong. it's hydraulically powered, very heavy when it breaks ) 150 lbs, and when the lift gate struts go bad you have to remove the headliner completely. be glad this car doesn't have it! also, one last thing on the airmatic....just save up $2k or so for replacing most of it. it's all a wear item. I just did all 4 corners on my '04 e500 4 matic wagon, and it's a bear. cleared 13 error codes and still chasing one last one (grounded wire left front). some leaks won't show up on STAR or autel systems, so you really have to go through it corner by corner once it starts to fail. These systems typically start to fail between 80K and 120K miles. compressor pump, valve block, all four corners of air shocks, and then finally 3 level sensors. In addition, there might be load levelling reservoirs above the rear axle that also are prone to leakage. SUre you could do BC coil overs, but that kida ruins the street cred of owning a fully functioning MB with airmatic :) plus it's cool. Not trying to discourage anyone, but i'm neck deep in a NON-AMG wagon and i'm at the point of no return! still love it though!
