Sorry for the late response. As far as why go through insurance- When the accident happened I got out and there was no damage on the car in front of me. She was an old lady and we looked at together and it was not much of an issue. She did request we exchange all information just to be safe so I did. Long story short her daughter (who was not there) eventually called in a claim and said there were some scratches etc on their car (if so it wasn't from this). As this started to happen I was heading out of the country for 3 months. So at the time it seemed like the easiest way to handle this was to just let insurance take care of it and I ended up getting my fog light and the piece around it replaced. It was very minor and I never imagined back then that I would be online describing the situation to a group of car lovers now!... Truthfully I have never really thought about it since then until now but I did include very good pictures of the area for anyone to see in this auction. I never thought I would sell my GNX. I don't just like that car, i LOVE that car. I love the way it drives. I love being only 1 of 547 owners. I love the attention that it gets and the people that stop to take pictures every time it is on the road or parked in public. But I have moved somewhere without a garage and now my grandfather has it in his and its too far away from me to enjoy. And as much as he is begging me to keep it there for him I know its the right time to sell to someone who will enjoy it and make use of it. in the last 24 months one sold for $200,000.00 (8 miles) and another for around $140,000 I think (over 4000 miles). Will mine sell for $200,000? I'm sure it won't.
