The fact that you can work on yourself is a huge plus. The one thing that I can recommend is upgrading the spider fuel injection system and going to a full MSD Street Fire CDI multiple spark ignition system and to include the distributor, coil and plug wires. I purchased the Yukon from a dealer in Virginia who had acquired it from the original owner. The original owner in Virginia was an elderly man and his son sold the vehicle to the dealer that I purchased it from. All the repairs and work done listed below was done at Demo's automotive in Houston, TX. I also replaced the battery in June of 2024, so you should be good on that for a while as well. The paint on this truck is original and it's immaculate, when I take this out for a drive I always have people stop me and ask about the paint and they comment how amazing it still shines for a vehicle of this age. I can tell you that the engine is strong, the transmission shifts perfectly and smoothly. The floor shifter also will shift the truck into 4 wheel drive if you so desire. All items on the vehicle work including the AC which is a necessity in the Houston heat!
