I bought it from a co-worker in 1976 for $65, as it had been sitting for some time in his back yard, and needed work to get it roadworthy. Sold in the late 90s dueto living next to the ocean and feeling bad about torturing it, I found it again around 2011 by speaking to the Compact Buick Club mentioned by @Miatadon. By that time it was too far gone. The 215 V8 is a great engine and even the 2 speed auto wasn't that bad. You didn't really want to go over 70mph anyway. The '63 is a bit of an acquired taste compared to the fairly pretty 61-62 cars. But the black color of this one helps make it much nicer. The interior is pretty much the same for all three years.
