The Porsche 911 Turbo of the day was no slouch, but imagine it with basically 75% more of everything. More power, more grip, more aero. It's still fast by modern standards. I can't imagine what this must've felt like in the 1980s!\r\n\r\nAnd you're correct, there is an oil leak stemming from the turbocharger. From what I can tell, the turbocharger was left alone during the engine rebuild in 2020 so that may be something to explore for the next curator of this beautiful car.\r\n\r\n@Porschehaulic, I'm not sure if was purchased in Naples but I did see the first service under Paul's ownership was in Sarasota. From my inspection when it was up on the lift (and as can be seen in the photos) there aren't any obvious signs of the front splitter being cut or modified. Perhaps this was a special request from the original owner when ordering the car. It has the intercooler derived from a Kremer 956 as the build sheet on my 84 states. Looks like a nicely built one here. Also, I remember my turbo needed a rebuild. Took a long time as they said the parts for rebuild were not easily available as it also was a race type of turbo. The HP on mine is 480 engine HP according to Kremer build info with open exhaust so this one may be very similar.
