Like most I love the hunt for those low mileage original owner vehicles and this is exactly what we have here. I purchased it last Fall from the original owner. The truck was used only in the summer months in British Columbia to move their truck camper from home to their acreage a few hundred Kilometers away. It did that two three times a summer and was stored the remainder of the time in their garage. As you will see in the pictures the truck is absolutely rust free. I see no indication of any type of repairand the paint, chrome and glass is excellent for a 26 year old truck. I will take some pictures and upload them in the next few days with a Spot Rot gauge in key areas to demonstrate how clean this truck is. It does not appear to have been used much. I can see no wear from a hitch and pin ever being inserted. You will also see in the pictures the stabilizer bars system still in place and clamped to the frame. These are easily removable should the new owner wish. I have also taken pictures to show where the rear camper stabilizers would have attached to the rear bumper. These are chrome as well and look like they are a factory part of the bumper. So if you looked at the odometer pictures you will see it actually says KPH for the white bold numbers and MPH for the gray numbers on the face plate. I know on German cars they only go with one reading either Mileage or Kilometers so if you come to Canada with a US vehicle you have to swap out the cluster and vice versa for going Stateside. On these North American vehicles they usually have both readings with the country of origin being the prominent measurement. We travel to the States often enough and you guys up here as well that they put both on there. It does consume slightly more fuel than my V8 F150 but it wasn't outrageous. The truck ran flawlessly and everything worked as it should. I also had a third BaT member ask so now is a good time to relay some pertinent shipping/transport information. While the border points between our countries are closed to land travelers at this time it has remained fully open to the movement of goods such as vehicles, furniture and just about everything manufactured between us as well as food etc. There is some indication that land crossings may be permitted to fully vaccinated individuals in a month or so. I know here it is being talked about in the news daily as more and more people get vaccinated and things open up. I personally have delivered classic vehicles that I have sold cross border so if the border opens up and the buyer is within a days drive from Toronto, Ontario we might be able to work out that option. Secondary to that I received the name of a broker/shipper whom another Canadian BaT member has used a couple times recently for shipping sold vehicles to US BaT members so I would be glad to assist with that. A third option is clearing your vehicle through your own broker and seeking your own shipper. Either way you can easily ship a US built vehicle, in this case Kansas, to the US from Canada. At that time we noted that the original factory rear Steelex Radials had been replaced at some point and still had the sidewall dimples on them so hadn't been driven much since they were replaced. The two fronts had less tread and were age crack. These appeared to be the factory originals. I was unable to locate the original Steelex tires so I went with new Rodians (see the attached receipt) that have a little more tread and look great on the truck. That was the only item required for the safety certificate. I kept three of the original Steelex tires and will include them in the sale if the high bidder wants them. One can be used to replace the factory original spare underneath the truck and a couple for spares. I have included a picture of them. In the case of my F-350 there have been no modifications. It is as it left the factory. I am unsure what each specific state DMV would require. A 25% tariff doesn't make sense to me and seems extremely excessive against a U.S. manufactured vehicle. Given how many Canadian trucks that are brought Stateside for sale I would think that tariff would totally diminish a dealer's profit and they would not be buying up as many Canadian trucks as they do.
