What happens with Spica injected cars is that owners fuss with them to the point of no return. On my 71 1750 GTV, my Spica pump was modified by Norman over 35 years ago. Not great on gas mileage but it goes like crazy. A set of the K&N air horns and the induction sound is intoxicating. On my 69 1750 Boattail, I never touched the original Spica and with exception of changing out the filters a few times never once a hick-up. Engines red lining every single time and never any fowled spark plugs. The finish on the rear panel (look at the reflections), the area below the left tail light and the right tail light surround (at the top right corner), shows that some work was done.\r\n\r\nLooks to be very minor. Plus, the car is 50 years old and most likely the car has seen some minor issues.\r\n\r\nFor $26K, I think this is a steal. The car is very clean, has had a long term owner, is the right year for S2 (1971 with the 1750 is THE year to own) and most importantly, the owner has taken great care of the car.\r\n\r\nIf there were underbody pictures, I think there would've been more interest.
