In person, the green is stunning, It's very bold in sunlight with the slight bit of metallic, and looks amazing in the shade or indirect lighting. It grew on me. I was not excited about keeping the original color at first, but it really grew on me once I saw the proper (code 861) formulation sprayed on the car. And I'm not sure what year MB started using the M110 Twincam in these cars in the States. I should also mention that the engine in this car is the original and the numbers match the original data cards/service literature. Time has proven the M110 to be really solid bulletproof engine. We only needed the front portions and my skilled sheet metal guy was able to make the inner floor repair and inner rocker from 16 and 18 gauge steel. He made a sleeve where the sections were joined to create a strong joint. He is a true skilled craftsman. When he finished the welds you couldn\u2019t even see them. A super thin coat of filler was used to smooth the area. When you look down the side of this car it is absolutely straight. Also, the rear quarter panel extensions behind the wheel are the same as the sedan.
