The carbs that were on this car last year are worth more than the entire motor that is in it currentley, its also now on rep AR wheels, vs real wats. A much more comparable car sales wise would be Erics old car(Silver car on SSR Longchamps) that sold last year to RB-Power it went for $59,500. I suspect this car to fetch simliar amounts or around its original sale price in 2019. however it could have fetched $75-$80k if the owner would have left it as he bought it. I have had my hands on a number of these cars and this was easily the nicest non-GTR I have come across. I struggled deciding whether to keep this car and do a TC24 build, or stick with my KPGC10. Most GT/GTXs will have major rust issues because they were used regularly over the past 50 years in Japan, this car did not. Mechanically, they are very simple and somewhat modular, so if some of the recent mods aren\u2019t to your liking, they can easily be changed, but you cannot easily restore one of these chassis. Current prices in Japan are hovering around the six fig mark and I am doubtful that any of those cars retain the structural integrity of this car.
