With a manual you can cause a mechanical overrev by shifting into too low of a gear for the speed you are traveling thereby forcing the engine to rotate faster than the red line due to combination of gear ratio and wheel speed.\r\n\r\nNo bore scoring concerns on the 9A1 engine either (first gen 987 had that issue, not the .2 like this car). The only concern on these is carbon build up on the valves because of the DFI. That is a high mileage thing so not applicable here (it can also be fixed relatively cheaply).\r\n\r\nBack to this car. The 987.2 generation is as good as they get for driver feel. The 9A1 engine is bulletproof. I actually also like the stripe on this one. Low miles is a nice bonus. Somebody is going to be very happy.\r\n\r\n@Half-moon-2002 I don't see a service record for plugs (every 4 years regardless of miles) or brake fluid change (every 2 years regardless of miles). Has either of those services been done recently? Also, looking at picture 42, the outside of the drivers seat bolster looks pretty scraped up. Can you take a closeup of that?
