This is a much more bulletproof system to engage the front axel. The Four Wheel Drive system works perfectly in the Jeep. \r\nThe ECU is located behind the glove box, with the computer plug-in attached to the bottom of the dash in clear site for easy diagnostic hook up. I wouldn't refer to this particular jeep as \"fair-weather\" vehicle. I have been in all kinds of weather with it and the aluminum top works great! I traveled all through Zion Utah in not so favorable conditions with this jeep, along with winter desert trips in the Mojave desert where the weather tends to get quite nasty. With that said I have 1/2 door inserts that come with the jeep (pics attached) that keep the entire jeep dry up front. Also the aluminum roof detaches in minutes (via dzus screws), so you can go \"top less\" and the Jeep also comes with a fabric bimini top that you can bring on trips if the weather turns! I cant see the top of the Tranny/Adaptor so I cannot give you an accurate count of bolts but I can assure you that it's extremely secure and that Advance Adaptors (advanceadapters.com) has been one of the premier American modification mfg's for decades. I have used their product on other Jeeps and they have always been top-notch. I have had many Jeep builders look at the engine/drive train install and all of them have commented that it's been done very well. This jeep works amazingly on the trails and then you can pop on the freeway and do 70mph without any death wobble (it drives perfectly at all speeds) that you may experience in some jeeps. Yes, this Jeep is plenty capable on the trails. The Fuel Injection 5.7-liter motor allows this late model jeep to run perfectly at all elevations. There have been times where it has been at the beach (sea level) in the morning and then climbing through Big Bear MTN (at high elevations) in the afternoon. The longer wheelbase (which is very close to a Jeep LJ) allows for a much more stable ride (along with more internal space for passengers & equipment). The Jeep also has a Full cage with incorporated grab handles along WARN rock rails along the bottom and two lockable TUFFY lock boxes to hold all your off-road equipment. It also has a slip yoke for a better rear drive shaft angle/performance. All in all the intended use of this build was never for extreme rock climbing, but I wanted it to be very capable on the trails along with great road characteristics. @Cbowsk asked about axels, It has BDS springs with Bilstein 5100 shocks mounted to stock axels and In all my years of owning this Jeep, it has never left me stranded anywhere. This Jeep can be driven or flat towed anywhere for a great time! If you\u2019re looking for a great \u2018all around\u2019 performing jeep with plenty of power to get you to where you want, then this is the one. If you are a California resident you won't have to worry about passing emissions with this Jeep, everything you need is there. I believe the AC should work, I left everything on the motor but never ran the lines back to the interior ducts (seeing I built this to not have an enclosed top).
