Of course if you won the auction and there was a problem with you importing it I would refund your money.\n\nThe previous owner of the car told me the ratio is !3:1, I have never measured it, but I have run the car on premium car gas and I have had no problems. \n\nThe speedo was replaced because the little right angle gear box in the transmission broke and I could not get a replacement. Burton engineering in England lists them but they were backordered. I have the broken one and the speedo and cable that I took out. It happened when the builder imported the car and went to register it. The registry office in Ontario did not have a \"Westfield\" listed as a type of car. They asked what it was and the builder said it is a replica of a 72 Lotus Super Seven so it was registered then as a Lotus Super Seven replica. When he brought the car to New Brunswick, and transferred the registration the replica part was dropped for some reason. When I bought the car I tried to change it to 92 Westfield, but again the computer did not list Westfield as a type of car and they couldn't do it. I have discussed the issue with Hagerty as well because I didn't want problems if I ever had an accident and they saw it was not an actual Lotus.
