These came with 195/60/14 from factory and you can see that in the window sticker spec too.\r\n\r\n95 is the year to have due to the:\r\n\r\n1. Seal update (93-94 known to leak water unless got updated seals)\r\n2. Rear trunk opener (93-94 only has fuel opener)\r\n3. Low fuel gauge light on cluster (93-94 had no light)\r\n4. Power door lock option\r\n5. ABS (although this could become an issue for some people)\r\n6. Updated fuel filter\r\n\r\nAnd it is still OBD1, so no big emissions to deal with. Moreover it has B16A3 which has 8200 redline unlike B16A2 in 96-97 model or 99-00 EM1 with 8k redline. Power output is still rated the same however. I am assuming this has something to do with OBD2 as that was the crossover point of the engine update change.\r\n\r\nMore pictures of the seals on the B-pillar would be nice as that is where mine is totally worn out. Picture 36 but with the glass rolled down.\r\n\r\nMy recommendation for new owner upon receival is to get euro (or JDM, mirrors on opposite side due to RHD) sun visors. USDM sucks ass (see picture 85, that's all it does and its so tiny). Whoever was in charge of North American markets at the time is utterly dumb. They only flip down whereas the rest of the world has them operate like normal sun visors.\r\n\r\nPut a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel filter. This helps with no start issues as some people constantly guess if they have fuel or spark on a no start. With the gauge pressure you know instantly if there is fuel pressure or not and can eliminate it. It is a cheap upgrade and it was my first upgrade on mine.\r\n\r\nDon't know about timing belt and water pump but I would get it checked and replace asap if not done already.\r\n\r\nI would also get dash cam for security reasons. It has already saved me in a car accident on my other car as these are rare vehicles nowadays to find and replace parts for.\r\n\r\nI would also add a kill switch of some sort. Many people mark cool gadgets for this but I just put a hidden switch in there for myself so fuel is disabled even when someone tries to push start it.\r\n\r\nFYI, the front license plate trim piece Honda still makes if the color is still being used. Mine is Milano Red and since Honda still uses that color, they still make the plug for those license plate holes in the front. Order them from Honda and they come preprinted. Its cheap like under $10/pair when I got mines.\r\n\r\nBody is not perfect as can be seen. It has some dents and scratches but its ~ 30 year old vehicle. Many people to this day still call their Si (SOHC VTEC) a VTEC model even when the B16 was the only VTEC model. The Del Sol got a bad rap with some leaks and squeaks that very very un-Honda, but as a \"toy\" vehicle, I'll take it over any other roadster of the era, and many things more modern. \r\n \r\nThe Del Sol is essentially an Integra roadster for the years offered. Suspension, brakes, chassis near identical with cross parts-bin compatibility. It's a joy to drive as a weekend / nice evening roadster. For sure by 94 it has r134a.\r\n\r\nIf you look at picture 97 you can see the refrigerant tag info from factory as r134a. The picture you are referring too seems like a tag for dye detection of the system. Which means at some point the system may have been leaking and dye was put into it to find the leak.\r\n\r\nAs for the alarm system, I am going to go on a limb and say yes it is aftermarket. Karr was a big aftermarket installed system at dealerships in those times. OEM systems do not have valet switches. Fuse box covers should not be hard to come by. There are many interior parts available from part outs. I may have one too but I just have to find it.\r\n\r\nAs for the \"Car & Driver\" article, keep in mind this is not the one they compared. The did the Si model which has the SOHC VTEC at 125hp. This one is DOHC VTEC with the 160hp engine. Totally different animal. You said you had a 1.5 S model in the past, this one will blow you away. Big grind on your face... smiles for miles. I guarantee it. Every time I get into mines that's all it is.\r\n\r\nOne more thing to keep in mind... trunk space. It has the most out of the group compared. I will not lie, I had 5 Costco wattle bottle packages stacked in my trunk and I still had space to spare.\r\n\r\n@ayyayyron,\r\n\r\nI agree with you. I would have swooped you on this one if I didn\u2019t too many projects at home at the moment. Congrats! I bought the 95 Del Sol Si brand new. Loved that car. Had babies and had to sell it. The 95 is better looking from the front than the 96 and 97 IMO. And maybe it\u2019s my imagination but it handled a bit better. The front of the 97 feels a little lighter above 78 MPH. \r\n\r\nI will say this\u2026 be careful where you park it.
