First and most important it's in stock configuration with all the smog equipment still in place. Second the two problems you mentioned (too lean, FASD) aren't difficult to overcome. The lean carbs can be fixed in about 5min with a carb adjustment tool, there are articles written on repair and maintenance of the FASD and while they are NLS you can still find good used ones.
