Scouts being smaller fit better. \r\n\r\nI once took a bunch of Tech people from the Silicon Valley up into the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Big Trees, there are some easy but super fun off road trails up there. We had a 60s Land Rover, a 76 Scout, a TJ Sport, and a Cherokee. The TJ had all the poser mods, big tires but not gear change. The rest were dead stock. The Scout and Range Rover had no trouble keeping up with my Rubicon, but the two other Jeeps had some issues. \r\n\r\nNone of these people had ever taken their junk off road, but everyone had fun, and the only damage was some scratches. The Scout impressed me the most of the stock rigs. On the Scout's I've been working on I have used GY Wrangler 29\"; BFG KO2's 32\" & 33\" and Dick Cepek 33\". Depending on your lift 33\" is about max with 4\" lift. This example with 37\" and cut wheel wells plus lift appear to work if you really want the purpose looking 4WD.
