I am Charlie, the owner for a few more days. I'd like to add some info that the auction manager felt would be better told by me than in the body of text that they mostly create. Here we go:\r\n\r\nMisc:\r\n1. The A/C is super cold, cools the car off very quickly.\r\n2. It has Nav on CDs. I used it once to test it and haven't used it since. CD updates are no longer available. You can do much better with a smart phone or an after-market GPS with free annual updates.\r\n3. You may have heard that the sound on these cars is incredible. It is. It's not loud, it just sounds taunting.\r\n4. During my stewardship the car has been garaged every day and night. It was never driven with \"rain in the forecast\" (got caught twice) and has been garaged and never driven in Dec-Jan-Feb. It is stored in a dry, windowless garage with a concrete floor. I believe that the garage never gets below 30 degrees. I am saying that because I store my bottled water in the garage and it has never frozen.\r\n\r\nDISCLOSURES\r\n\r\nThe right-front air dam beneath the car was cracked upon receipt of the vehicle. On delivery the mechanic repaired it with tie-wraps and it has been trouble-free ever since. This is noted in picture #60.\r\n\r\nTiming chain tensioner has a minor leak. The quoted cost to repair was parts: are $222.35, labor is $79.77, plus tax. There is nothing wrong with the tensioner. The leak is minor and I planned to defer it to the next service (wasn't sure I'd be selling the car at the time of the service). The leak has not dripped onto the garage floor. The oil from the leak is visible in the top of photo #62\r\n\r\nThe left-rear exhaust slide over and touched the body melting some of the (fiberglass, polycarbonate?). It was slid back and there was no further damage. This is visible in pic #20.\r\n\r\nFront tires should be 225/45 R18. The car arrived with 245/40 R18. This is the proper size for the Z4 Coupe - not the M Coupe and my guess that was the source of the error made by the prior owner. The front tires show 4/32\" tread and would be due for replacement shortly. Michelin Pilot Super Sports in the rear were installed at 30,871 miles.\r\n\r\nAlso regarding the request made by VTys2k I will release some photos this weekend of some imperfections of the body. So I drove an M Coupe for free for 11 years except for: gas, insurance, maintenance, repairs, lost storage space\u2026OK, it was far from free. But I had wanted a sports car since I was 16 and finally at age something-something I got a sports car in a big way. I drove it \u201ca lot\u201d (relatively speaking) for the first few years and kept it in great shape. Maybe a little too great \u2013 the last few years I was a little nervous to take it out and have something happen to it.
