The frame sections rot and are hard to fix. This one appears to have been re[paired, but one can see that the inner frame boxes have not been treated with a rust retardant. Should be done. The engines in these cars are a marvel. Rootes effectively balanced and blueprinted every engine. All pistons were measured and weighed and matched sets went into engines so that extremely close clearances were obtained. Rods were weighed and matched. I added an electric overdrive which is not difficult to source and it's a bolt in.
