These chassis seem to last forever - given the limited rust in evidence on the body fenders, I am guessing the chassis is solid. Looking at the spare tire area (...the canary in the coal mine for these cars.) I am impressed that it looks quite rust free. Recently had my \"C\" engine professionally rebuilt (XK-140) for under $9,000.00, leather seats professionally redone for under $5,000.00. So then you have body work and paint!! ....and miscellaneous (don't forget that!!) My estimate, with much of your own effort, ...one could have a nice clean driver for the purchase price plus another 50%-75% of that acquisition price. (This assumes a solid base car such as this...) The side curtains, convertible top and tonneau cover are included.\r\n\r\nYes, the car can be driven, including up onto a trailer. However, after having the master cylinder, wheel cylinder and brake hoses replaced, a leak was discovered in one of the brake lines. The 120 grille is more elegant with the thin and deep vanes (or tines if you will) which are hand soldered or brazed in place. Also the bonnet growler above the grille is a nice piece missing here.
