I have several cars, but not going to a gas station is got to be one of the great advantages of an EV. As for the Plaid I do most of my charging with a level 2 home unit, but I do see level 3 superchargers occasionally. Real world charging (at level 3 - pre conditioned battery stop) are short & sweet. I can charge from 20% to 80% in eight (8) minutes +/-. Very much like gassing up my ICE sportscars. Range? If I drive like an OG I will see 200-250 miles? But letting the Plaid drive itself (completely FSD, with no input from the driver) I will see 300-340 @ the speed limit. It is painful to drive along in a 1020hp car like that... But, it can be done. \n\nThe FSD (in its current version 12.5.4.2) is mind bending. In town its actually a better driver than I am. It sees everything. And you don't touch the wheel. Never have to check in, never have to add input. It is timid at times, but this is nearly robo-taxi stuff. It is working, and logging thousands of miles (in like Teslas) every day without incident. It is remarkable. \n\nThe ASS (actually smart summon) is also very good. I just have not found much reason to use it compared to the FSD. \n\nPower is simply stunning. I have other high-horsepower cars, but the traction that this 1000hp animal has is pretty hard to compete with. You will drive around (minding your own business) and the street racing peeps will roll up next to you. NONE of them will even look your way once they read \"Plaid\" on the back. No one wants any. I had a modded BMW twin turbo guy actually apologize (out his window) for accelerating next to me. Another time a GTR owner said \"I want NO part of that\" when I invited him to try it on. Its combo of power, looks, and traction is lethal. Simply put it is not acceleration, its violence. \n\nBut its not a one trick pony. It is good looking, fast as imaginable, drives itself, and the fit, finish and luxury are considerably higher than the early models. Brakes? You will never ask for more than what is on there on the street, and when I did track mine (well sure I did!) I still found \"track mode\" enough to get laps in without issue. \n\nI was an early adopter (paid full tilt in Nov 2021), it was my second Model S, and I have yet to have grown tired of it. \n\nLet me end with this. I can grab the keys to many of the finest models of the worlds most exciting manufactured cars, and I choose the Plaid most every day. The N2itive camber arms do help but expect maybe 10k out of the rears with them (I\u2019ve had them since 2,500 miles and now have near 20,000). Keep on top of alignments! I have a 2015 S63 as well and can daily drive that (yes completely opposite on the gas spectrum!) the gadgets and interfaces of the Tesla are insanely good such as autopilot, phone key and all the controls from your phone. The RS Gt etron shares the same platform as the taycan which i see quite a bit and i can tell you that fit and finish as a car is much better from Porsche.
