It\u2019s probably easily removed and repairable by a paintless dent remover guy. It never bothered me enough to do it. \r\n\r\nNo other rust or repairs I am aware of other than bubbling at the bottom of the left rear door. I treated it with POR rust inhibitor from the inside when I bought the car. It\u2019s been the same since then. \r\n\r\nCompression test was performed when I bought the car in 2017. 150 lbs plus or minus 5 noted on one of the bills. The beauty and aroma of this vintage Jaguar transcends the pictures. I was very impressed when I saw the picture of the JCNA Championship award plate for the Northeast. I was fortunate to end up winning the auction for my Jaguar here on BAT. Little did I know my XK140 would go on to win the same award (and others) for the Northwest for 2023. I am a little confused at the class D5 (maybe driver class?) and a point average of 9.611, normally the first place would be in the upper 90\u2019s. Nevertheless, to win that award the car has to compete in at least three official JCNA sanctioned Concours events having the highest point average. I suspect some of the blemishes noted now were not to exist just a few years ago. Speaking of which, those minor hiccups can be easily fixed. I think the new owner of this wonderful Jaguar will be honored to be the new caretaker as I am with my Jag. I always have to chuckle when asked where purchased my XK, and the response is always shock of my winning it here on BAT online. How lucky I was.
