The oil pump seal was recently done. The carbs were just cleaned, plugs and fluids replaced in preparation for the sale. It got a new clutch plate and new rubber boots a few years ago. \r\n\r\nI took the approach of generally maintaining it to ride and slowly fixing issues as they arose. I have been dealing with medical issues that arose right after I got it painted and put new tires on it in '21, so unfortunately have not been able to really enjoy the fruits of that labour. \r\n\r\nOver my 20 plus year period of ownership, I didn't experience any issues with the engine. The power band has never disappointed me. It is in 'good' riding shape and could be taken to the next level of 'mint' by a buyer who wants to take it down to the frame for paint and rebuild the engine, but that is not necessary to enjoy riding it as-is. Using Cole made my process a lot easier than what you describe.\r\n\r\nI forgot to mention previously, that when I drained the tank for the winter, I also drained the carbs. They are so easy to drain with a long flathead.\r\n\r\nWhen the oil pump seal was replaced last month, the crank case gasket was replaced. She comes with a spare oil seal (see attached). \r\n\r\nIn 2022 when the clutch plate was replaced, she got new needle valves.\r\n\r\nWhen the throttle cable was replaced a few years ago, I also replaced the grips. She has new baffles as well as gaskets (and comes with a spare baffle). The mirrors were purchased about 10 years ago, but they developed this faint green ring, which makes me think they got moisture in behind them and wonder about how water proof they were to start with. \r\n\r\nThe only other thing I can think of at the moment about riding her is I made a vow to never ride angry.
