If I may, I suggest sticking on that path and save the art critic comments for a gallery in that big city of yours \u2026 where window tint is illegal. \n\n@clutch_is_morefun The cube interior trim (not carbon fiber) is a common wear point for almost every BMW of this era and is easily replaced / updated. Further, the bolster wear on the driver\u2019s seat (obvious by the way the belt buckle is positioned) is even more common, especially with the Gray leather cars.\n\nIn looking at the dates on the CarFax, this was a southern car from new until Jan \u201816 when registered in NH. Even then, it traveled 4,300 miles in nearly 5 years with the only winter reporting being registration renewals. Photo #78 shows that the clear coat has worn on the driver-side door handle trim. The scuff shown in photo #119 is on the driver seat left side bolster. As to ice damage, the car was a Florida car from 2004-2016. I was told that the previous owner and the owner prior in NH had the car garaged year-round, I also have kept the car garaged. The wear on the black cube trim, which resembles carbon fiber, is minor and occurs frequently on these E-46\u2019s The passenger side cube trim shows no wear. The scratches on the sunglasses holder and ashtray cover are mentioned in the description and shown in photograph #114. These are all of the imperfections I am aware of. The top works as it should and the headliner is in excellent shape. I will post a video of the top opening and closing tomorrow. The front and rear \u201cbumper covers\u201d are, to the best of my knowledge, original and a part of the ZHP performance package\u2019s changes. Black fog light trim ring is missing on both sides. Cheap part and easy to install. Mine was missing on one side but my previous owner also hit a curb once. Them missing on this might mean the bumper was off.\r\n2. Can confirm that the bumpers do naturally sag a little bit (#19 and #49) after a long time of gravity and heat cycles and being a car.\r\n3. Can confirm that the cube trim and plastic do get scratched up, this one has slightly above-average wear (#95, #114) but isn't concerning.\r\n4. Can confirm that the driver-side left-side bolster wear is common. All of mine have had it.\r\n5. Clearcoat failure is concerning here since its not an Arizona car (#66, #74, #78, #79) but there's lots of reasons why that might happen.\r\n6. #73, side mirror heating element oxidizing, normal in cold climate areas.\r\n7. #107, alcantara wheel wear, regular for the territory of alcantara on consumer cars.\r\n8. Sumitomo on the front and Pirelli on the back. Not going to spend time finding a reference, as I\u2019m not bidding, but early ZHP cars had steering wheels replaced under warranty. Later ZHP cars had leather wheels. Keeping an alcentara wheel looking good takes effort, and a hand washing before going for a drive. \r\n\r\nZHP optioned \u201ccube trim\u201d (close in appearance, but not carbon fiber) had a finish that was not very durable. This one is par for the course, not great. Not bad, but not great.\r\n\r\nSeat bolsters are the same, can\u2019t get in or out without rubbing a bit. Some are worse than others. This one\u2026not great. Not bad but not great. Better than average.\r\n\r\nTires, can\u2019t be \u201crotated\u201d as they are staggered front and back. Rears go quicker, buy good tires for what needs replaced when they need replaced. No sense in demanding they \u201cmatch.\u201d\r\n\r\nOverall this is a well represented. Given this sat so much, an oil pan gasket prob in the future (they dry out) and a oil filter housing gasket as well. Tons of DIY\u2019s out there.
