While this is my first auction on Bring a Trailer I have been following the platform for a long time and am very excited to finally have something to list here and am happy to answer any questions or provide more photos. \r\n\r\nAs for the truck itself I bought it in mid august as a bit of a project and winter driver as it had practically no rust compared to other 80 series cruisers I was seeing around Michigan. While it had some cosmetic issues its an all around solid runner. I've owned several of these trucks before including a 91 LC and a 97 LX and just cant seem to stay away for long. If you don't already know these trucks are practically bulletproof while also being relatively comfortable which I personally love. This truck is also finished in the factory Black Onyx paint as far as I know is a pretty rare color that wasn't offered for very long. The seller is my son, he loves cars and FJ80 especially. He is a mechanical engineering, and obsessed with everything about them, this is his third, plus has been around many of my personal FJ80 builds, I\u2019ve sold a couple of them here on bat, along with a ton of other cars. Equalizer controls work as well but I haven't tested the CD/Tape deck functions. The screen doesn't seem to stay consistently on though which I think may just be old wiring but not too sure. Speakers still work. Front power locks work but I wasn't able to get the rear and hatch power locks to work, but they still lock and unlock fine manually. I will need to double check the mirrors but I believe they work and adjust as expected. The front seat motors work fine but the forward/back only works on one side for the driver side (can be fixed with a replacement plastic gear in the slide mechanism). The tires are fairly old and while KO2s are known to be tough tires they probably need to be replaced soon given their age.
