You can feel and hear the thump and boom of each cylinder firing, the clutch rattle providing additional rhythm. You can see through the frame that appears delicate by modern standards. \n\nThe aftermarket Fox rear shock and FCR41 flat-slide carbs were installed by the prior owner. Note these carbs have no choke so cold weather starts can take awhile, but the power and creamy throttle responsiveness are noticeably improved over stock.\n\nWhile in my care, I sought and installed a collection of rare, mostly period-correct aftermarket parts. Highlights are the \"spaghetti\" headers with low-mount carbon silencers and the very rare factory carbon fiber side fairing panels that I had painted to match: I've never seen another set for sale or installed on another bike.\n\nThe cosmetic condition of the bike is commensurate with age and mileage and is accurately represented in the photographs.\n\nThe original plastic side fairing panels are in fair condition (chips and scratches shown in the photos) and are also included in the sale.\n\n @Old_Surfer photo 53 does show a small scuff on the right rear seat fairing that's more prominent in the photos than in person. \n\n @Todd_Kunau I acquired and added the 1-piece Marvic magnesium wheels as part of a plan (never realized) to show the bike at the Quail as part of a Supersport collection.
