My V10's got 10 mpg city, 14 highway; the diesels got 14 and 17 respectively. But given that gas is cheaper than diesel, the fuel cost per mile is approximately the same. I think the V10's handle better -- probably due to less weight over the front wheels. The V10 is quieter than the diesel. My diesels were rated to tow 10,000 lbs. My V10 with 3.73 rear was rated to tow 10,000 lbs; my V10 with 4.30 rear was rated at 11,000 lbs. That said, they are all great vehicles.
