The work was carried out by an awardwinning Alfa Romeo specialist. \r\nA lot of effort has gone into making this cars technical specification as factory original as possible. So a lot of time was spent on finding the correct suppliers of parts, and doing research on everything from the original supplier of onboard tools, to the correct plating color of a certain screw or detail.\r\nThe history of this car is documented since it was new, and the history file that comes with the car paints the cars whole life in detail. All owners since the car was new are known.\r\nAs you can see in the pictures, the car was delivered to me in concourse condition. Since then, I have driven it 12.000 kms in 2 years. Needless to say, it has been garage kept, and properly maintained. \r\nI will be looking for a 2600 Spider as my next Alfa Romeo adventure when my 1750 sells.\r\nShipping is easy, and I will of course assist in every way I can. I only have one comment and it's not a criticism. The stickers that have been applied to this car are not quite the right ones. The lubricant sticker on the hood is from a first series 1750. The radiator cap is from a 2 litre. The stickers on the air cleaner are also from a first series 1750. The tire pressure sticker should be placed on the windshield, although I've yet to see one on a 1750. Lastly, I've not seen the yellow EP stick on a 1750 differential. Among the 105-series Bertone coupes, the 1750GTV first series is almost on top of the pecking order for street cars (Likely only eclipsed by the '67 stepnose GT Veloces). This one looks superb in Euro-spec with the desirable seats, the finer details, like rear lights and wheels with hub cabs from the earlier car and the Weber set up (No Spica on Euro cars).\n\nI am a huge fan of Giallo Ochra as one of the most sensational colors for a GTV. The windshield washer nozzle looks barrel shaped instead of dome shaped. Gas cap looks different than original. The Quad badges don't look gold and white enough? The jack mounting clips look like they are mounted too far apart. There are Allen head bolts on the oil pan and a hex head rear axel fill plug. The rear rotor attaching screws are Phillips, I thought they were slot originally. Why is there a capacitor near the coil? Exhaust manifold painted silver, OMG the horror! I do not have a verified cost for the shipping to USA. I recall when I sent a car in the other direction, that I paid around 2200 USD for the freight. The car was then shipped in a container. That was a couple of years ago and that car was shipped from Los Angeles to Rotterdam. So I can at this point only guess on 2-2500 USD. Perhaps this auction is followed by someone who knows better. When it comes to import into the United States; I have no experience. I THINK it is both easy and cheap for cars over 25 years old. Again my experience is limited to a car in the other direction. The import duties were very low indeed because the car was a classic. I remember in any case that the process was very easy. I contacted a car shipping company, and got a quote within a day or so. Gave them the adress to were the car was at, and they took care of the rest. So I would suggest to contact a couple of such a companies and get some quotes. This being a Swedish delivery car, meant that it was not originally delivered with yellow lights. I believe for example that the french delivered cars were. And in 1969, the swedish cars did not have side markers. That arrived a year later, in 1970. Regarding the numberplate lights: If you look at picture number 60, you can see that the number plate lights sit inside the rear bumper. The bumper on the series 1 cars has a shape that allows the light to hit the number plate. A beautiful design detail.
