In order to get the transmission into Sport shifting mode. You must 1. press the Sport button and 2. accelerate to at least 3300 rpm. If you just press Sport button the transmission will behave as normal and try to shift through gears as quickly as possible as well as start out in 2nd gear, it will not activate Sport SHIFTING until you hit 3300+ rpm. Once you do this it will start off in 1st gear every time you stop and will hold lower gears much more aggressively until you turn the car off and it reverts back to normal shifting. For \"old\" cars I prefer the manual because old automatics were slower than the manual versions of the same cars. But that is just me\r\n\r\n I know I would \"cry\" if I got smoked by a Tip at the lights if I was in an identical, but manual, car. Doubly so if I paid an extra 30% for my car. The CPO warranty is two years with unlimited miles. So it would seem that the factory has faith that their products will hold up way past the miles on this car.
