The timing belt and water pump was about 10 years old. Didn't want to risk that. Also: brake booster, rotors, pads, fuel filter, motor & transmission mounts (deteriorated, causing vibration), thermostat, left bank 02 sensor, power steering pressure and return lines, spark plugs, belts, and hoses. \r\nI love it. I'm on my second one now, both being 1999's!! In fact, I gave my first LS400 to my son, after having driven it from 160k to 205k, cross country once. My son drove the car out to 245k, before we decided to sell it.\r\n\r\nBought my second 1999 back in Jan. 2021 with 93k miles on her, because I actually Missed my old car more that I could've imagined! After sorting out the cooling system, my latest LS should be on her way to 200k miles over the years. My second looks almost Exactly like this auction car, which appears in very good condition. This car needs some Love here. I still say these are some of THE best cars ever made, even to this day - being 23 years old!! I get at least 18-19 mpg around So Cal surface streets and get up to 29 mpg on a regular freeway run!! Love these cars!!
