It's very similar to the optional Morgan full-width screen and mounts the same way. You can change back to the factory dual screens no problem, but as a M3W owner with the Fairbourne screen, I love it and I wouldn't change it. The original dual screens provide minimal protection, while the Fairbourne screen makes it quite a reasonable ride from a wind/bugs/debris perspective.\r\n\r\nThis car also has the tall roll hoops with \"head rest pads\". I believe these look best with the slightly taller Fairbourne screen. They also raise the hoop sufficiently that it's not as likely to whack the middle of the back of your 'noggin in the event of a rear-end event.\r\n\r\nNice looking M3W! Let's race!\" The chassis felt very controllable when pushing it near its limits and I don't doubt it could beat a Morgan three-wheeler around the cones. I have not had the opportunity to push the handling limits of a modern Morgan \"5-speeder\" trike but I can say that the engine's power delivery feels similar to a Morgan Plus 8, while ride is about the best I've experienced in any Morgan (ignoring a short drive in a friend's Aero 8). To get a visual confirmation of this look through the top gap in the bell housing; the circular part inside has a cast surface for the Centa and a machined surface for the earlier Compensators. \r\n\r\nThe chassis bracing was also updated for 2014s forward. This is not the bolt on bracing that is added to earlier models; the chassis is built with the additional bracing welded in place.\r\n\r\nBevel box OEM fluid and mountings were also updated, the steering geometry improved, and the belt drive sprocket is now steel and no longer aluminum.\r\n\r\nThe comparison with a Caterham may be thin aside from the answer to the, \"what happens when if rains\" question; \u201cyou get wet!\u201d. The M3W has a .79g skid pad so it's quite exciting even at legal speeds. The two-cylinder 2l V-Twin adds something special and different from any of the smooth idling 4 cylinders in other toy/fun cars.
