The car has not spent anytime in California to my knowledge. I have tracked the ownership lineage all the way back to new and it was only titled in North Carolina, Maryland and VA. The car was not for sale near Boston over a year ago. In regards to the car looking like it was repainted. All 86 Aerocoupes are like that, because the company that did the Aerocoupe modifications, Cars and Concepts in Brighton, MI, did not match the GM paint code exactly. That is why the bumpers are a slightly different color.
