Of note, some of the photos in the gallery are of the vehicle when it was restored in the mid to late '80s. The owner at the time spared no expense with doing this restoration, doing a full frame-off process. The car eventually went on to the 1989 Buick Club of America (BCA) national show in Batavia, NY, and won the Senior Award that year. It still carries the award emblem you see on the front grille. I have reached out to the BCA to see if there is any historical documentation on the vehicle to have that will prove this. Some people I know in the Buick community were present during that show in 1989 and remember the car, hence knowing about the award it received. The historical photos of the restoration were provided by the son of the owner that restored the car, and whom I am still in contact with today.
