Moto Lita has several available. There is no \"legal\" problem with changing the steering wheel. The \"legal\" problem was the selling of the Morgan in the US with the appropriate safety equipment, which required DOT certification in the US, as well as certification in the UK and Germany. You can't just build a 1969 car in Europe and sell it now. They have more stringent rules there than we do here... \r\nIf you want to change the steering wheel, or the safety belts, change the bumpers to the lower mounting without the shock absorbers... Go ahead. It's your car. Just be careful with the air bag GM steering wheel. Mine has always been garagedl and of course run only in good weather unless the rain catches up with you - that is what tops are for and you need practice doing it quickly!\r\nWe had many weekend jaunts and until Covid an annual 3-4 day meet up. Our longest trip was a meetup in Watkins Glen (ran the track) , then trekked up thru upstate New York, Vermont, over to Old Quebec City, down thru Maine, New Hampshire and back thru New York, then home to Ohio. Total about 2500 miles and three weeks, Another one we did was up thru Indiana, Michigan, across the lake (10-12 Morgans on a car ferry - quite a sight!) to Door County Wisconsin, down thru the state and followed the Mississippi to St Louis, then back home. \r\nGreat times and great memories and I hope if someone buys mine, join a club and travel. We always stayed at 50-60's vintage motels, cars parked in front of the doors for security and most washed the cars each morning before breakfast - always TLC.
