I felt bad not having a more certain answer to ecu741026's question about the slight muffler sound difference, so I did a quick video to show it and how slight it really is. Also, to alleviate fears that the sound difference could be an indication of an issue with the engine, I did a quick compression check. Both cylinders were within a pound or two of each other and at a reasonable level indicating no mechanical issue.
