Many mechanically inclined people work on these cars themselves. My brother in law, who is a mechanic, replaced the ball joint, for example. It is a Ford motor so common parts like the oil filter are found at any auto parts store. The ball joint was the same case. I imagine a Ford dealership could work on the motor if you had the need. Other parts are AP Racing or I've heard they can be found through Lotus dealers. Rossion has sent me some specific parts like the carbon fiber front clamshell and carbon fiber vent bezels over the engine that I added. Fronts should be 225/40, the rears should be 265/35. Tire height is important as this car was designed around these sizes. \r\n\r\nI did quite a bit of work with 1G/Rossion back when the car was introduced, and found that changing the rear tires to a wider, but lower profile ruined the handling. This was further confirmed by several spins and the occasional contact with curbs or canyon walls by owners. Wider, lower profile tires ruin the balance, and make the car a bit unpredictable at the limit, especially if one is not elegant with the throttle. I was witness to one of these problems with the factory press car when I was testing different tire sizes and manufacturers doing the original development on the Q1. The errant driver was doing a test prior to a purchase. Yes, he purchased, even with his expensive, um.. error). We found that the original M400 setup was still far and away the best, whether the car had the Bilstein or the custom valved adjustable Konis (which were set up to match the precise dyno curve of the M400's Bilstiens, which became unavailable when the Rossion entered full production. \r\nIn any case, this one has leaky tires, so a change to the original sizes would be easy. The correct sizes are listed in the manual, towards the back. The rest of the correction can be done with a damper wrench and a tape measure. \r\n\r\nThe ride height problem can also be corrected by first setting up the coil over height to the manual specs for the M400 (The Rossion specs are way too low, and the car ends up on the bump stops on the rougher canyon roads where I did the original development of the suspension setup, here in the Santa Monica Mountains; AKA \"Racer Road\" , \"Mulholland International Raceway\" and environs. The ride height is first set by measuring free threads on the dampers, then putting the car on the scales with driver installed to do the corner weights and to remove any \"wedge\". Then, careful alignment, especially the rear suspension toe and camber (made easier with the adjustable toe links on the Rossion). Any minor looseness in the steering (engine off, car parked) can be corrected by aligning the steering shaft inside the passenger compartment so that both the steering top shaft and bottom shaft U joints are square to each other. Play will be gone, steering will be ginsu sharp. \r\n\r\nThe engine uses Ford EECV ECU, so Ford compatible scan and test tools will work perfectly to find or correct any problems in the fuel injection, just as it is done on the production Fords. \r\n\r\nIf you find that the seats seem to dump you under the steering wheel, you can remove the seats and adjust the seat tilt, picking up an inch or so head room at the same time. \r\n\r\nMost of the chassis bits are still M400, and parts are available in the UK. \r\n\r\nThere is nothing like a Rossion to drive. It is perhaps the best handling sport car ever made, with more than 1G lateral available, and a very forgiving nature, being neutral and accepting steering or throttle inputs right out to the limit. My 94 year old Mom could drift this car. There is enough power to crack the low 11s in the quarter, and 0-60 in the 3.1 second range, which includes a shift... Think about that for a minute. Most of the cars that can break the 4s go 60 in first, so no shifting. The Rossion... Quicker, even with a 1-2. \r\n\r\nThe cars are well made, and certain builders do an excellent job in assembly. The trick is to make sure that the car is sorted, which an informed enthusiast can do with some driving and a little wrenching and bolt tightening. \r\n\r\nThe quality of the chassis and components is excellent, as is the paint and the bodywork. \r\n\r\nThe quality of the Rossion is directly related to the dedication to the setup of the chassis. There are no tricks, only to adhere to the settings of the Noble M400, as listed in the build manual. Then, you will have one of the best handling cars ever built, with enough power to catch just about anything on any canyon road.
