If it is not the switch, your best bet would be to rebuild the motor. I got literally THE last new motor available from Honda maybe 15 years ago. I bought my CRX new in 88 and have had the entire SR assembly frame out of the car twice to repair stuff (cables, plastic bits etc). It is a job. I need to take it out again for repair, and have a spare complete assembly for parts. BTW I never have had an issue with the switch. On this car, if the SR is onpening and closing manually ok (using the crank tool), I would just leave it as is for now. At some point another part(s) may break and that would be the time to repair/replace the motor and freshen everything else up. It would be benefical to see the sunroof opening and closing manually.
