My husband,who passed away last year owned and managed a business in Manhattan until the day of his passing. Because of this, we split our time between New York and Florida for many years. Although the Mercedes was transported to Florida in 2008, it remained registered in New York until 2021 when we registered it in Florida. Obviously the car was not driven much in Florida with only 1800 miles added from 2008 until 2021. I do not know why the car remained registered in New York other than it just was not a priority to register it in Florida, and unfortunately my husband is not here to clarify the registration. However, the entire time we have owned the Mercedes, we also have had, over the years, several VW Golfs which have served as our main every day car. This Mercedes has always been special to us and has been treated with the utmost care. The odometer has always worked, the mileage is accurate, and the car is true and stands on it's own. Some time after this we had the Kenwood installed. I recently tried the antenna switch and nothing happened. I spoke to Kenwood tech support. They thought, possibly, the car antenna wire was not reconnected when the Kenwood was installed.
